Winter Baking Day

Ummm turtles; take a pretzel put a rolo on it, cook for 3 min., then squish a pecon on top. The kids spent the day cooking all kinds of delicious treats with mom.

Christmas Musical

Jacquelyn had her school musical this week, she did a great job singing, everyone heard her loud and clear. :) Santa came and surprised everyone at the end.

Lincoln Parade

It has been at least 20 years since I have been to Lincoln's parade.
We finally had a nice day for the parade, last year they had to cancel
it due the fridged conditions and snow. The kids had a blast.

Tooth Fairies

Jacquelyn informed us today that there are two tooth fairies, a rich
one and a poor one. According to Jac, the poor one comes to our house.

Ho Ho Ho

Kids ran into Santa while in the Plaza during the tree lighting. If
you ever get a chane to go do, it's amazing.

KC for My 30th B-Day

My wonderful wife surprised me with a family trip to KC for my
birthday! The weekend was full of ice skating, shopping and of cource
a carriage ride in the Plaza.

Halloween Costumes

We thought 70's basketball team & cheer apparel would be appropriate
this year as costumes.

Squirrely Squirrels

Apparently squirrels like painted and lacquered pumpkins. So, we cleaned up the mess and carved the pumpkins since the squirrels had already cleaned them out for us.

Birthday Party at the Bowling Alley

Jac turned 6 on May 19th. Nicole had a good idea to invite Jac's Kindergarden class to the Bowling Alley for a graduation/Birthday party. For some reason we thought this was a good idea until 20 kids showed up and went crazy. :) Lesson #1 split up the boys, don't put them all on the same lane. We actually had a blast!

Graduation Day!

Jac had her Kindergarden graduation ceremony. Followed by coffee, juice and donuts which Lauryn thoroughly enjoyed. We made sure her diploma was signed. :)

Jac's Dance Recital at the Lied

Jac had a whole birthday week. 1st it started with her dance recital at the Lied, we think she was the best dancer...but, we might be a bit biased.

Baby Stroller Sleeper

Caught Lauryn watching a movie in her play baby stroller that she got for Christmas from her grandparents. See is so small she still actually fits into it. I think she still wears 12 month old clothes.

Field Trip to the Zoo

Nicole and I escorted 12 kindergarteners from Blessed Sacrament to the Omaha Zoo. The kids had a blast. And of course we had a bus problem, the door alarm kept going off on the way back to Lincoln. Everytime we ride on a bus there seems to be a problem...bad luck I guess. Last time we went to the pumpkin patch for a field trip our bus got stuck in the mud.
